Keeping Extension Cords Under Control

A real simple idea to keep those extension cords under control in your hangar or workshop.

I've used those cheap plastic reels in the past, and have not found them particularly easy to use....

So, an easy (and usually no cost) idea that came from a This Old House episode a couple of weeks ago... drill a hole in the bottom side of a 5 gallon bucket, and just coil up the cord inside the bucket.

Works great!

I used a left over pool chemical bucket of about 3 gallons... the cord pulls out easily, and really is easy to coil back into the bucket... Try it...:D

At least our tax $$ to PBS came up with a good idea...:)
