Kavlico Sensor?

Lots of discussion on the Kavlico sensor but I haven't found anything (not looked in right place?) on which one to get. Anybody have a part number?

ALSO, John, should the capacitor be soldered across the wires at the firewall ir inside at the back of the Dynon D180?

THANKS!!

You can get them fromAircraft Spruce or I believe directly from Dynon. Call them. I installed the capacitor right at the sensor itself, but it would probably work just as well inside the avionics bay. Keep in mind the wires inside the avionics bay are very small gauge (22 I think) which might make connecting the capacitor more delicate. The wires coming out of the sensor itself are much larger. But, your choice.

Kavlico

I am currently installing a AFS 5600 using the Advanced Control Module. I changed all engine sensors including using Kavlico sensors for both oil pressure and fuel pressure. AFS advised me that I did not need the capacitor.

Your situation might not be the same.

Jim
