Jerry Hajek passed away on June 18 while hiking in Sedona. Jerry had built an RV8, race 51. He sold it several years ago and bought a Carbon Cub. Gave me my last 3 BFR's. Super nice guy.

We were very sad to hear of Jerry’s passing. He flew with us in the Lone Star Squadron in Houston for 10-12 years before retiring and moving to Arizona. We made many fun trips to Oshkosh, formation flights, fly ins and enjoyed him playing with his band at our after flying events.

I rememebr Jerry from my days in Houston - really great guy…his is a loss to our community…
