Decided to go with an iPad Mini 6 and arm mount for flying, so I have for sale an iPad Mini 5 and Guardian smartPanel dock with power for a flush mount in your instrument panel.
This iPad Mini 5 (Space Gray color) has the large 256 GB memory and is both Wi-Fi + Cellular capable. The unit is in excellent condition, no scratches or display cracks, and has been reset to factory conditions. Comes in its original factory box with a new Apple Lightning to USB-C charging cord. No wall wart though, that piece lost a battle with Florida lightning....
It has the ArmorGlas anti-glare screen protector installed from MyGoFlight. The protector really rejects screen sun glare in the cockpit and is easy to clean with a lint free cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. ArmorGlas is not effective against spousal glare, however.
The smartPanel mount from Guardian Avionics hold the iPad behind the instrument panel for a very flush installation. Just slide the display down or sideways and tilt it out to remove. There is an included power supply and Apple MiFi certified Lightning cable with open wire terminations to wire to the power supply. Also included is a 3.5mm audio cable to hook the iPad sound output to an Aux input on your audio panel. There is a round tube attachment in the back of the dock for a feed from your avionics cooling fan(s) as well.
Also included is the optional bezel from Guardian for the smartPanel dock, this has the finger rests similar to the modern Garmin touch-screen units to steady your hand in turbulence. The dock can be installed with or without the bezel as you choose.
It would cost close to $900 to duplicate this package, I am asking $399/OBO plus shipping (likely ~$25 for USPS Priority Flat Rate). Old fashioned paper checks via snail mail or Zelle only, please. Thanks for looking! See attached photos:
