International flight

Hi All RV people

I’m wanting to fly an RV14 from Canada back to my home in South Africa, I have done a ferry flight once before but that was in my Commander which is obviously pressurised, it’s a fantastic flying trip but am I NUTS crossing to Greenland and Iceland etc in a single, the Sling guys have done it often from South Africa and they are slow compared to the RV14, would appreciate some responses

Most certainly an adventure with obvious inherent risks. I personally am not a big fan of single engine overwater, but that's just me. Plenty of folks have flown some pretty impressive long range overwater flights.
