Instrument panel brace

My -7 slider QB kit came with a brace that is located coincident with bottom of the forward fuselage "sub panels" (F7105A, R and L) (the ones between the firewall and instrument panel) and pop riveted to top of the F-902 left and right bulkheads. This brace must be removed to install the outer sub panels, but I can't find it on any drawings. Cleo'ing everything in place (with the brace) looks odd - the brace looks out of place. Can anyone id this brace for me? Or was this just installed for shipping?

If you're taking about the U-channel that spans the width of the fuselage, it's just for shipping

Yup, that's what i was referring to. Couldn't find it anywhere on the drawings...driving me crazy. I wonder why they drilled four holes in each end, but only pop riveted two of them. Made it look like it belonged....
