Installing RV-12 wings?

Mornin’ all.
I’m making preparations to install my wings in a couple of days, in order to final drill the actuating fittings.

Any ‘gotchas’ you guys may want to share?

Second build but forgot this. Go slow and mark outside skin and make relief area where spar rivets touch skin. Otherwise it will catch and distort skin. Also on both I built the inner aluminum piece above spar needed a little filed out for spar clearance otherwise both the pins would not align. You also may need to remove a small area of the bottom skin where it touches the layered reinforcement

Installing RV-12 Wings

This should be in the 12 Forum but ...
I installed my wings to drill the flaperon torque tubes about 2 months ago.
I recommend using a file to ease the exposed edges of the main spars and stub spars slightly to get rid of sharp edges. I did not do that and I got a lot of scratches where the main spar ends rubbed against each other when being inserted and jiggled into alignment.
