In Rockford for the weekend

I'm in Rockford IL for business with nothing to do on Sunday. I can't build on the -9a so I was wondering if I could bum a short ride from someone in a 9, or any other? I've only had a short 20 min demo ride at Vans - enough to sell me on the kit, but I could sure use a break from travel and work.

Poplar Grove Airport has many RV-s. Not sure if they have a 9 or not. I am at Cottonwood Airport. No flying RV's yet but my RV-4 and our Chapter President's RV-6 both in the finishing stages are based there. We have another member building a -9 but still at his home.

KC09 Morris about 2 hours south of Rockford ... we are having an open house today (Saturday May 20) 10am to 2pm ... there are a few RV's no 9's yet. I would be happy to give you a ride after the open house.
