iCom A200 low transmit resolved

I thought I'd create a new thread on this as it's been discussed in several separate threads in the past

Here's the deal.
iCom uses a resistor to go from a connector to the board where normally a wire will do. They actually label it "Wire2". But, the wave solder process prefers a more solid wire as in a resistor. Apparently, vibrations sever the resistor and over time, a weak connection becomes an intermittent or no connection. It's difficult to see the severed resistor due to it's location & orientation over the board.
My avionics guy say this is a design flaw.
Thankfully, it was not the radio to antenna or the PTT>intercom wiring.

Prior to the fix, coming into towered airports, they could hear me but with a weak transmit. Coming back from the Bahamas a few weeks ago, when I finally made contact with ATC, I'd have to standby, then I was out of range. I did also notice today, I was receiving more than I had in the past.
