Hello California 10 Builders. . .

I am working on a covert project. . . shhhh don't tell anyone.

I need to take a look at a 10, completed with the cowl removed, or under construction with the engine on the mount.

Some place within an hour or two of KPTV. . . by RV of course:eek:

Any invitations please? I'll buy you lunch. . .:D

You can come into North Las Vegas...I'll take you over to mine. Just need to install the completed baffles.

Will pictures help?

Not sure exactly what you're looking for/at, but if pictures will help.
Here's a link to several albums that have several hundreds of pics of the firewall forward at various stages.

Bill DeRouchey & Dave Saylor Have finished -10's @ Watsonville, Al Gardner has a finished 10 @ Yuma.

Come on up to Cameron Park.

I have a -10 under const, and a finished one (belongs to a buddy) here in the hanger.

Fuel here is pretty cheap, relatively speaking:rolleyes:

Just be sure to let me know if you are coming------gate access can be a problem------clicker needed.

Thank you for those pictures Deems. Those will help with my project also. By the way could I get some cowling diemisons if you have them handy I too am working on top secret project for my -10. If I could get the length and width of a typical rv-10 fire wall forward L x W x D. That would be a huge help. I am in the inital prossess of reciveing my QB kit

Some ROUGH dimensions

I measured the Length of the lower cowl which is currently OFF the a/c it measures 41 1/8" from the firewall to the front of the spinner ring.

The APROX width (the cowl is OFF the a/c and subject to 'bowing') is 45 7/16"

There's too much stuff on the firewall to get an accurate depth (height) measurement

You guys are not thinking of installing something other than a 540 are you? Van's does not approve this sort of thing.;)
