I give up. Ailerons push rod length?

OK, OK, I get it. Sometimes we need to be humbled.

I'm trying to finish the wings, and I need to cut the Aileron push rods (the small rod about 2 ft long)

The plans keep saying to see DW9. So I look at drawing 9 and sure enough, there they are!

BUT NOWHERE do they say how long they need to be. Do I guess and keep fitting unit correct?

*OR*

Go to Van's Airforce and find out.

Also, I'm assuming you do not need to cut the big push rods at all. These big babies go from fuse to bellcrank.

The large tube length is on the same drawing too. Be sure to measure it for correct length.

Ouch. You scared me for minute.

Since thew tube is only 48" long, half is 24, not 27-1/8

After reviewing DWG 15 I see it is with ALL hardware installed.

I should have been more clear. Center to center of holes in rod ends, but you know that now.
