Huron SD - Good RON Location?

Getting ready to make the big trip to DC and NY in a couple weeks. First day would be Seattle to Helena MT area for gas, then a second leg to somewhere in SD for the night. Looks like Huron (KHON) and Mitchell (KMHE) are about the right vicinity to plan on setting down for the evening. Any recommendations on these (or other airports nearby) as far as facilities, lodging, crew car, etc. would be appreciated.

Day 2 of the trip would be a gas stop somewhere south of Chicago - maybe Joliet (KJOT) and then on to the destination in Warrenton, VA. Two days of just over 6 hours flying per day - weather permitting...

If you come half an hour southeast to VMR I have a car and a hangar we could probably fit you in. Lodging is pretty reasonable or you could sleep on the couch in the hangar if you're not picky.

Otherwise, MHE is the nicer of those options in my opinion.
