The FAA registration process, per EAA, states I have to fill out AC FORM 8050-2 ?Aircraft Bill of Sale?. How do I do this for an aircraft I built? Do I just fill out the Purchaser section?

I think you call vans and tell them and they will provide the "bill of sale". Actually, I believe that is the preferred route as the other takes many hoops to jump thru. Others can chime in for sure.

Van's fills out the top part of the form to show the sale of the kit to you. Call Van's and tell them you're ready for the form and they'll send it to you.
