How To Find Missing/Lost Tools/Parts

I have spend hours looking for a 'lost' 1/8th inch AN426 dumple female die. I just ordered a replacement set. I know from a lot of experience that tomorrow when I get in the hangar I'll see the 'missing' tool part just laying there in the open. We'll see/
