How Much Pro-Seal for a 14 QB

I get my tail kit next week to be followed by QB wings and fuselage. I want to go ahead and order the Proseal I'll need. Given that I won't be doing the fuel tanks but will need some for the elevator SB, possibly the canopy and other miscellaneous uses....how much should I get? What about application tools? (gun, squeezers, etc)?

I did the entire QB project with much less than a 1 quart can. I kept it in the freezer between uses and it shelf life was fine. (Obviously no tanks) Did not get any special application tools other than a small syringe of Amazon for doing the rear window. The leftovers are still being used on a Mosquito bomber.

Another option that I used is this sealant gun; it starts and stops without oozing. Dial the pressure for your needs: https://www.yardstore.com/sealant-gun-with-6-oz-retainer

These cartridges go well with the Semco sealant gun
(they sell 6oz and 2.5oz sizes, depending on your needs and how you "batch" your sealing tasks; buy them as you need them): https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pnpages/09-38510.php

Mix the sealant with your drill using this (or similar): https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/skinWedge.php

With the QB, pretty much everything that need to be prosealed, is already done. I think a 3oz size should be plenty enough if your aim is to buy just enough for the project. The only place that I can think you will need proseal is to adhere the pieces of UHMW that goes over the spar in the wing gap area and the rear window for keeping the rain/water out for that you can use any time of glue, it does not have to be proseal.

Cartridge

I recently bought a cartridge and transferred the contents to two tiny 4oz paint cans. I keep them in the cooler.
Works great. I can mix what I need.
Consider Sika for canopy work.
