To much heat FWF, you need this pump to stay cool, it's your insurance against vapor lock.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

As Walt said the electric pump in its current location is your insurance against vapour lock. In my not so humble opinion the standard fuel system is a terrible design hydraulically speaking and is the prime reason running anything but 100LL is considered a less than foolproof. It has other advantages but vapour lock prevention is not one of them.

I'm a professional engineer that has designed many pumping systems for high vapour pressure liquids.

Putting the pump ahead of the firewall could lead to your untimely death..And I'm not kidding.
