heater vent servos

can some one find the builder and or pict. of a 10 that was
using servos to open and close his heater doors

I'd be really surprised if those servos last very long.

I just checked the spruce site (and Ray Allen) to see if I could find some specs on maximum operating temperature, but it's not listed.

That is one of the hottest areas. Especially after shutdown when there's no airflow moving the heat away. I've heard a few RV-10 flyers say they've seen 200 degree + temps right there.

That just looks like a nightmare waiting to happen.

Ray Allen says that it's made of Dupont's Minlon, the same material being used by BMW for valve covers.
