HD Camcorders

Anyone ever tried to use one of these ultra cheap HD camcorders for in flight video? Seems there are tons of them out there for less than $50.

If so, how did it work out?

I have a Cannon Vixia HF10 HD camcorder. It's small and weighs about 12oz. Tried it a few times mounted in my plane with a Ram mount but it could not handle the vibration even with the image stabilizer turned on. Really too bad because even though it's 5 years old it still takes better video than my GoPro 2.
