Have you seen SL-30 COMM FAIL message?

Has anyone seen a "COMM Failure" message on an SL-30? Just curious...

SL-30-Yes-I saw it!

Indicated a power failure on the comm side plug in the rear. Pushing it on firmly and tightening the screws eliminated it for me.

Yes, I also have seen this message on my SL30. The comm side had failed, in my case reseating did not solve anything. I had to send it to the dealer and he verified the problem and RMA'ed it to Garmin for warrenty repair.

Well this was pretty easy. The COMM fuse should be 5A, not 2A! Problem solved.
