Harness Weight

Hey guys, I just got a set of Crow harnesses that are looking good and I really like them. All went well with Crow and they showed up quickly in the mail, exactly what I ordered. They weight over 4 lbs each. If I remember when I weighed them, they were exactly 4.4 pounds. They are not CAM lock style, but do have the standard RV-7 equipment.

How heavy are Hookers? I am sure that Van's harnesses are lighter and others maybe too, but I like the robustness of the Crows..

Just curious what thoughts are on weight associated with these things. As they do seem a bit heavy to me.

My Hooker harnesses, with camlock and crotch strap, weigh 4 lbs 1.5 oz per set.

I sometimes think I don't even need to buckle them to stay in the airplane, just putting the harness over my shoulders feels secure enough.
