GSU 25 to GDU 465 back-up RS-232

Is there a way to wire the AHARS back-up RS-232 into the PFD using the large connector (P4602) instead of the small 9pin connector (P4601)? The manual only gives the pin outs for using P4601.

Hello Mike,

You may connect the GSU 25 to any of the 5 serial ports on the P4602 connector and configure the selected port to Garmin Instrument Data. Page 22-17 of the Rev. U G3X Installation Manual provides the signal pins for all 5 serial ports on the P4602 connector.

Tx to Rx, Rx to Tx, just like the diagram shown for the P4601 connector.
