GRT XM Question?

What XM features are available to run through the GRT HX? I could not find this info on there web site. Are echo tops, lightning available?

It used to be there but I could not find it either.
Since they have not added to it in quite a few years, I suspect they took it off cause its pretty limited.
Lightning yes, echo tops no.
It is nothing like what you would get with a 496 like device.
nexrad, winds, lightening, metars n tafs, is about all I can recall with mine.
This functionality was there years ago in the early releases of the HS1.
No updates to this functionality that I can recall.

If this is all it can display, then I assume subscribing to Aviator LT would be the right level to have. The only extra feature with Aviator would be, lightning?

Correct. I'm not sure I would want to see the GRT attempt to paint things such as echo tops anyway unless they massively improved their graphics engine. The HX starts to get pretty jerky in a split screen with a map with radar returns on it.

Aviator Lite

I think the winds aloft is the big ticket item that you dont get with the lite version...
