ground clearance

can anyone give me the ground clearance dimension about 4" behind the baggage compartment wall for a -6. you guessed it, that's where the lower VHF antenna's going!

Pat,
That's going to depend on a couple of things.
Mine has 17.5", but that is with an Aircraft Specialties tailwheel and the airplane unloaded. The dimension will be less with Van's tailwheel.

how much does do you think the tail wheel adds?

I'm not sure, but I think I remember about 2" at the tailwheel. Of course that would be a different measurement at you location.

Ann just found the pictures for me.

The Aircraft Specialties tail wheel raised everything 2.5" at the rudder bottom directly over the tailwheel.
Since the location you're interested in is approximately 1/2 way back, my guess would be that it changes about 1 1/4".
