Ground/Adjustable rudder pedals (again)

All,

I have the "before match drilled fuse" kit and am installing the ground adjustbable rudder pedals. However, never being one who likes to lose future options, I would like to install the nutplates for the in-flight adjustable rudder pedals (Dwg 34) before I rivet on the bottom front skin. How do you locate these nutplates? It looks like they would go on the F-802UPP crossmember (Dwg 36A). How do I know which holes?

Also, any other suggestions that would make a retrofit of the adjustable rudder pedals easier would be appreciated.

The cost to buy the required parts for in-flight adj. is $498. If you return your unneeded gnd. adj. parts within the 2 years time limit the dif. is only $288.

My kit was shipped less than three months ago. I decided to upgrade to the flight adjustable pedals so the only thing I needed to send back was the (unopened) hardware bag. The weldments are identical between the two configurations, only the hardware bags are different. I found out the hard way when Van's sent me a complete set of the identical weldments with the upgrade and naturally, I immediately returned them. Check the last two pages of the fuselage hardware inventory list, mine is dated Oct. 2006, and you'll see what I mean.
