GPS antenna mounting

I have a question about mounting the GPS antenna on the cabin top. This will necessitate 5 holes including the large hole for the antenna wire and TNC connector. Is this a problem structurally? Is there a better place for it on the -10?

I cannot answer the structural question, other than noting that many builders have placed it there. I put mine on the aluminum skin, just behind the baggage bulkhead, where it has performed flawlessly. Of course I have the 430W model that required a minimum coax length so this placement took care of that, too.

Yes 5 holes. I'm not an engineer so can't qualify the loss in structural integrity because of the holes but I'd be absolutely shocked if it was enough to be a cause for concern.
