Hi,
As soon as I sort out this last issue, I can call my avionics install done!
The GMA340 audio panel has a marker beacon antenna connection coming out of one of the big d-sub connectors on the back, which I implemented by using a length of single-conductor shielded cable (RG400 ain't gonna fit in there).
What is the recommended way to splice the shielded wire to the RG400 cable going to the marker beacon antenna in the tailcone? I get the basic concept, but I'm concerned about making a mess of the shields and the connection in such a way that my antenna performance is compromised.
