GMA-345 fails - GTR-200 intercom?

So I'm putting a GMA-345 in the new plane, and thinking about failure modes. When the GMA-345 loses power, it defaults to passing COM1 through to the audio output, so I presume that COM1 would work for send/receive in that mode.

I also assume that the intercom would not work since the box has failed, fuse blown, breaker open, whatever.

The GTR-200 and GTR-20 both have an intercom, and it doesn't get used when there are two radios and multiple audio streams such as from GNX-375, or GDU-460 for example.

BUT: could the headset wiring be done in a way that if the -345 goes down, the intercom of the GTR-200 would or could be enabled?

Yes, I know it is super unlikely to need this - just curious what can be done if wanted.... Would be nice to talk to the back seat driver if the primary intercom failed.....
