glossy or flat paint on top of wings?

Has anyone ever used a flattening agent in their paint for the top of the wings in order to keep the sun glare down?

I think I know the answer...but thought I'd ask.

If the tops are white the flattening agent will make little difference. IMO.

I polished mine so I might be the wrong guy to offer an opinion -
