Gear weldment cutout

I just installed the gear weldments in my 9A. How much clearance around the tube exiting out the bottom skin are people leaving? I have about a sixteenth on the aft side. Any more and that one rivet will be gone.

You got it right...

I remember that rivet. It sounds like you have enough. That gear leg weldment is not going anywhere. It is bolted to the main spar going through the fuselage and the lower longerons and doubler assembly. The 1/16" is fine.
