gear legs

My question is this,I am building an RV4 from , very old kit parts , The landing gear legs I have are not drilled or marked are they both the same or is there a left and right?

They are symmetrical. In other words until you drill the hole to mount them they are the same. Later kits had a longer gear leg which some prefer. I've still got the original shorter legs and wouldn't bother to change them it it were me.
