Gascolator installation?

Where are the other Canucks installing a gascolator (as per MD-RA) on there 10's, or anyone else that has installed a gascolator for that matter?

Not criticising, just asking if we should have any concern about the heat issue (tunnel heat) with that location?

Gascolator

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, we as Canadians do not have to option of not installing a Gascolator as it is a required component of the fuel system in any Canadian registered aircraft.
The gascolator is an inline fuel filter, much like the one Van's show on their plans, with the added benefit of being serviceable during annual inspections. I don't believe takes away from the operational integrity of the fuel system in any way.
