Garmin 175 with Flightdek 180

I have a 2011 RV12 with the Dynon Flightdek. I'm wanting to put a Garmin 175 as my teenage son is considering taking lessons and I'd like to have an IFR platform for him to learn on, even if if we never fly it in IMC. Is there a way to integrate the 175 into the Flightdek?

You will need the HS34 to take the arinc429 output of the 175 to drive the D180 HSI in spilt screen mode, this is how the 375 talks to my D100 on my -7.
Alternatively you can integrate the I75 with a G5 or AV-30 to get the CDI/HSI display, both of these require additional subsystems to convert the arinc429. Although you can use an iPad (Foreflight or Garmin Pilot etc.) for the flight planning and plates, the aera 760 integrates nicely with the 175 for a larger display and geo referenced plates etc.
