GAP 26 install location

I am installing the Garmin GAP 26 PITOT/AOA Probe and reading the instructions it recommends installing it no more that 25% back from the wing chord. If I attach to the rear of the main spar (as it seams most do) it will put the front of the sensor back 16" from the front of the wing tip. The cord length is 56" and 25% is 14". Dose the two inches make any difference on performance of the AOA?

In practice, the location you have in mind has been known to work fine on countless RV aircraft.
