Has anyone used the JDair fuel vent fairings on an RV 8? I bought a couple because I thought the standard 1/4 tubing bent forward was less than attractive--plus I have bent them up so badly since I installed them that I have to do something different.
Looking at how the vents exit through the plate that covers the gear bolts, I couldn't see an obvious way to secure the jdair vents and then get them properly connected. Has anyone done this and has a cleaver solution? I could go with the coils on the wings and do away with the fuselage tubing entirely, but would rather keep the original plumbing.
