Fuel Tanks

Just about to install the fuel sender and cover plate on my quick build tanks and was wondering what other people have found are with the Q/B tanks. Should i re leak test the tanks as they are meant to be already tested and have others had leaks in Q/B tanks any info is appreciated

I leaked checked both of mine after I Pro Sealed the access hole and fuel sender plates and they passed. But one had a small fuel weep after I put fuel in so I had to re-do it.

So, I suggest you do the "fuel check" before attaching wing to fuselage.

I believe the leak was cause by the fast set-up of the 1 oz Pro Seal that Vans sells. It's working time is 30 minutes (or less on a hot day). Suggest you use 1 oz lot for each side.
