Fuel sender calibration

I am trying to find out the angle of dihedral of the wing on an RV7A. I am ready to put my fuel gauge floats in and I want to calibrate it with my gauges. Does anybody know what that is? Also does anyone have a recomendation of a sealant to use that can be removed if needed?

Sealant=Pro seal or equivalent

>It's easy to remove the cover plates.
>Consider making a temporary cover of plexiglass to calibrate with. Make a small wire to raise and lower the float with.
>What EFIS are you using?
>Throw away the cork gaskets and just use a thin bead of sealant

BE CAREFUL IF YOU PUT FUEL IN/OUT OF THE TANK! Ground everything! Static electricity just torched off a new 7A here!

I was told that pro seal was very hard to remove. I am using Vans gauges and was going to set the wing up at the same angles that it would be on the plane and try to calibrate the floats. But, I have not been able to find the dihedral angle.

Why not just wait until the wings are on the airplane? Seems like a lot of extra work just to calibrate the fuel gauge.
