Fuel Selector

I am changing the fuel selector on my RV6A with a replacement from Vans.

As I remove the fuel lines from the selector valve (from the blue elbows installed in the selector valves) should I coat( Teflon) the end of the elbow that attacheds to the FUEL LINE?

Thanks

Look at the EZ-Turn lube thread

Look at the EZ-Turn lube thread response recently posted then apply to your situation. Pipe threads (tapered) and flared fittings have different requirements and have to be handled accordingly. This is one of those educational things that is the basis for the amateur built experimental aircraft class. Some personal research into published procedures should be helpful. People may be reluctant to give directions that may be misinterpreted or misapplied in constructing aircraft fuel systems.
