Fuel flow tranducer problem

I recently completed my build, got the AW certificate and have been working through tuning things up. With the help of the Forum and some fellow local builders I have most everything working. The fuel flow transducer is apparently not working. A fellow RV12 builder says he gets an indication of fuel flow when he turns everything on before starting the engine. I have set the K factor the same as his and I get nothing. Any suggestions before I start taking things apart?

If I recall, some of us felt it might be very small debris that gets into it. I had it happen once, and I just ignored it for a while and it started working again. Might try turning master on and very lightly tapping the sender with a paint stick as example. This assuming you have checked the wiring carefully. Has it ever worked ?
