I have a horizontal stabilizer and matching elevators from my -4 that I'm tired of storing. These parts first flew in 2001 and were removed from service a couple of years ago. They have about 1000 hrs of flight time. I built new elevators with 0.020 skins. To minimize aircraft downtime and fitting issues, I built a new HS to go with the new elevators, so I have the set to give away.
The parts have no damage history. One of the elevator skins has a couple of cracks that were stop-drilled years ago. All parts were alodined and primed inside and out during the build. While I consider these parts flight worthy, they are offered as parts for any use.
I also have a rudder with 0.016 skins with similar stop-drilled cracks.
The only requirement to taking these is that you pick them up in Fitchburg, MA.
