FltCom Intercom Install

Greetings, The instructions in the Fltcom manual states not to remove the nuts around the volumn and squelch posts and to push the posts through the panel and secure with the small plate. Just curious if others have left the nuts on the posts, or did you remove them for a more solid install. I'm not really sure if the nuts are required.

Congratulations on your progress. Last time we talked you were on the canopy.

Leave the nuts on the assembly. It's been over a year but it seems like they protect the circuit boards from having the rheostats over rotated, torqued etc. I may be wrong but thats the best I can come up with. Maybe somebody else can input.
