Floor stifferners to F-601J

Hey,

Got a little question for you guys that finished the cabin.... I am presently drilling the floor stiffeners to the floor and I was looking at the connection of the stiffeners to F-601J;
it looks like the firewall stiffeners are preventing the stiffeners to go sit straight on the f-601j bracket... did u guy notch the stiffener to fit flush or did you just forced it in place with a clamp?

Here's some picture with a marking of where I would notch it... what ya think?

You are correct to notch them. Here is a picture of how I trimmed the stiffeners:
