Flap trailing edge question

While drilling my TE wedge, the wedge was not completely in and flush with skins when i drilled it. Its only sticking out about 1/16 inch and only about 6 inches from outbd end of flap, the rest of the flap is fine. What can i do to fix it or should i order new? I thought i could file flush after riveting but then that section may be slightly thicker than the rest. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Flap TE

Flush file it. I flush filed all my control surface trailing edges down to the top and bottom skins.
