Flap Pushrod tube

Can someone provide me with the part number for the newer style pushrod tube for the flaps. I would like to get the octagonal shaped ones but my older plans don't have the part numbers.
Thanks in advance.

This must be your lucky day

I just called this morning, and got the part number for those threaded push rods. They are actually an RV-9 part, and are just a bit too long for the RV-8, so you'll have to trim them a bit.

The part number is VA-256, and you need two. Unfortunately, they're $12 each. I've threaded a handful of those aluminum tubes per the plans, and have never been entirely happy with the results, so I ordered some of these to see how they work.

Cheers,

Thanks for the info.
FYI - A friend of mine used these in his RV8 and is really happy with them, so I thought I'd give them a try. They are a bit pricey.
Thanks,

When I built my -6,I questioned the strength of aluminum tubing. Flaps are HIGH load devices. I simply used 4130 tubing instead.
