Flap Position Controller

Does anyone have any experience with this flap controller?

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/FPS.php

I currently have the Showplanes controller that ships from Vans, but I don't like it at all. I was thinking of building/programming my own flap position controller and then I found this one above. It's an exact clone of the what I was thinking of doing.

So instead of building my own, I'd prefer to purchase one from someone who's already done the work. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks,
Phil

I don't have any first hand experience witht he unit, but many have. I do have first hand knowledge of the product's construction and the engineer that designed the unit.

Rich Meske is a local RV-6 flyer and technical counselor that runs AircraftExtras.com. His website is http://aircraftextras.com/. If you go to the page on the flap controller, there is a better description that on ACS. Ordering direct will save you the shipping costs. Give Rich a call in the evening EST and he'll probably talk your ear off. He's good with answering questions.

Since I'm installing a VP-200, this functionality is built into the VP-200. Otherwise, I would have one installed. I did install Rich's low fuel warning system. Feel free to drop my name if you give him a call. He's inspected my RV-10 several times.
