Flap handle boot question for those with interiors

Has anyone else who has purchased the interior kit option had problems installing the flap handle boot? During my test fit, the base seemed too small to allow movement of the handle to all three positions without moving the base of the boot. I was going to send Abby at Flightline Interiors a note but thought I would check here first to make sure I was not doing something wrong during the install.

I think she is working on a revised one right now.
