Flap Actuator - lubricant ?

Just curious if the flap actuator shaft should be lubricated or not. Mine seems to have a sheen from a thin layer of silicon or some other lubricant when flaps are retracted. Should I just wipe thus off before I close up the tunnel? This is the 4th annual and I just don't remember seeing this last year. I'd appreciate hearing what others have done.

I'm only a year in to mine but... I've never lubricated or read/heard anything that says to do that. I havent seen any type of sheen on mine. Just my experience so far.

Thanks. I spoke with OEM and the tech said I was likely within tokerance but to check it again in 40 hours. It may need to be overhauled and refit with upgraded seal. Apparently this was common before new seal design.
