I started with Vans flame master on my 1st tank but used more so didn't think I would have enough for the second tank. i order from Boeing and thought I was getting the same stuff. CS3204 B-2. When I started mixing, the part A base is not the same consistency as Vans. It is slightly more runny. Color and mix is the same. Actually easier to apply. The label says CS 3204 A 1-2. Is the difference a problem?

Type A is a honey-like consistency.

Type B is the thick paste we all love.

The 1/2 or 2 is the working time in hours.

In general, Type B is used in between parts, and Type A is used to overcoat rivet heads and edges. If you do both it adds to the seal quality. I used a craft syringe to do that.

You can also get another sort of tank sealant called "Access Hatch Sealant." It's designed to let you remove a hatch.
