Firewall passthrough and cables

Hallo Gents

Can someone confirm that runs the bpe540 what the lengths the throttle, mix and gov cables is when using the aerosport 310 panel with new quadrant.

Also what size ID those swiveling passthroughs must be for the cables

I don't have the numbers for the control cables handy (written on a scrap of paper somewhere at home!), but Geoff and Zac at Aerosport should have the dimensions that you need.

As for the swivel passthrus, I used the eyeball swivels from Cleaveland Tools: http://www.cleavelandtool.com/Eyeball-Firewall-Passthrough/productinfo/FPT1/#.V87rASgrKUk

These come with undersized holes that you drill out to the desired size. Worked great!

Cable lengths

This is what Zac @ Aerosport sent me. I have not installed them yet so I can't independently verify these. I have the BPE 540 with Cold Air Induction

Cable lengths for RV310 panel with Arm Quad

Throttle: 63.5 to 65.5”

Prop: 89.5”

Mix: 67.5 to 69.25”

Order 2.25” throw

Zac gave me those est. lengths but not sure how it will change with bpe540. Is it safer to go a bit longer rather than shorter
