Can anyone tell me what material they used to insulate their firewall. This is something I would like to do before I close the front which I am about to do. Nothing like having access from the top. Has anyone fastened material to the sides or cargo area with velcro? If so how did it work? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Firewall Insulation and safety
Under the safety section, there is a long discussion and some really fine experimental data from Dan Horton on the right materials to use. The thread is Poll: Firewall Insulation (I think). Read through that carefully before you install. I used a ceramic covered with stainless steel foil on the foreward surface. There is little you can put on the cabin side that doesn't turn toxic in case of fire.
