Firewall forward kit substitutions

hi there

I am about to order FF kit for my 7A with IO360 and CS Prop

Any pointers on things to swap around?

I have the heater vent being swapped for a stainless steel version but thats all so far.

Someone mentioned switching hoses to Bonaco, are they better?

alos upgrading the oil cooler? I'm flying in the UK so not that hot.

Hi David,

I am flying in Australia with the standard oil cooler which is 70% blocked off to allow temps to get above 180F, so can't imagine you should have a problem in the UK.

I have found the standard hoses supplied by Vans to be fine.
